Make Amazon Pay

My artwork went up in ad-hacked spaces across London, as part of Brandalism Anti Amazon Black Friday Action.

Taking over advertising spaces we turn toxic consumerism into a vision for change: my subversive illustration lets us imagine an end to the greed of the world’s biggest monopoly - where Amazon’s hoarded profits are redirected into a future of shared prosperity.

“Amazon epitomises 21st century destructive hyper-consumerism; bombarding us with advertising in the run up to Black Friday whilst squeezing the pay and conditions of workers, amassing eye-watering profits and then dodging its taxes. It relies on public services like healthcare, transport and education to operate yet minimises its tax contributions to fund them. The UK government needs to reset the social contract and stand up to Big Tech and their billionaire CEOs. We can’t afford them.” - Brandalism

I was inspired by progressive leaders Mamdani & Polanski’s political vision to “tax wealth, not work” in order to tackle the deep inequality in our society.

Other brilliant artists featured in this campaign included Spelling Mistakes Cost Lives, Everyone Hates Elon, Frank Riot and Wrench.

Special thanks to the stealthy Brandalism crews that installed our artwork on billboards and in the London Underground!
