The work in this space centres on struggles where the visual cultures of capital, colonialism and patriarchy intersect. While advertising selectively appropriates queer culture, it continues to promote racism, misogyny, cisnormativity and body dysmorphia. Arising from struggles around these issues, much of the artwork here is made by or in solidarity and collaboration with women, trans, queer, Indigenous, black and minority ethnic communities.
Featuring artists DoublewhY_Y, Sierra Merda, Illustre Feccia, Proyecto Squatters, and myself.
